At dahil ilang oras na akong lublob sa internet, naisip ko na magpunta sa Youtube. Nagbaka-sakali ako kung may mga interesado bang mga video na galing sa aking lupang pinaglakihan- Batuan. Ang turing nga ni mama dito, "the critical area". Medyo natawa ako kasi ang bayan kong ito ay marami na ring pinagdaanan. Nasunog ang munisipyo, ni-raid ang munisipyo, nagkaroon ng political killings, at sentro ng rebeldeng NPA. At eto ang bagong nasilayan ko nang mag-youtube ako.
Bumaha sa aming lugar. Hanggang patuhod ang tubig. Ang ibang malalalim na lugar ay gabaywang. Sabi nila may buhawi daw. Buti na lang wala ako doon nasa tagbilaran ako.
At nang nagpatuloy ako sa aking pagsearch, ito ang ikinagulat ko.

The Cat Behind the Logo
For everyone's info, I do not own the cat. On the contrary, nobody legitimately owns him either(or maybe I have no idea). You can call him a nomad cat. The black tabby cat I had posted months ago (that cat probably died of old age, may he rest in peace) has his new heir.
Being a person obsessed with cats (which is obvious), every time I had the chance to see the cat I grab my camera and hurrily take a picture. I became his instant paparazzi.
These are taken in our dirty kitchen. This cat probably haven't had his dinner or he's just gluttonous.
Better pic kaya lang not the whole body. Sigh.
Too bad my camera is not good in focusing. I wish he could not blink. Blame it on the flash mode. One more thing, he's in heat (just so you know hehe).

Modern Day Trends
When I was in high school, I had a close friend. We often do debates because he was a die-hard Catholic and me, a pro-protestant Catholic. Actually, there was some time in my life, during my elementary, that I have had Sunday schools in a Protestant church and even attended their services.
I enjoyed arguing with this guy, especially when I assert my point or when I rest my case.
One day, he came across with this issue:
Why are the churches today seem to be affected by commercialism/globalization?
He mentioned this church a few blocks away from our boarding house.
He complained why these churches have to place taglines. For him, it's no different from advertising a product and is therefore objectifying. In other words, it lessens the value of the place of worship.
I just answered him: Call it marketing strategy or whatever, we have to be at pace in this modern world!

Spelling the Beans
It has been a very long while since I've had my last post. I admit that procrastination (did I spelled it right?) is innate in me. When I was in the hospital watching for my lolo, I was sleep-deprived. Buti na lang, may cable coz we don't have one at home. I chanced to watch the Spelling Bee Championships on ESPN. I'm really of this games because of their educational value. I tried it myself and a few corrects but a lot of misses.
An boy of Indian descent won the said contest. The runner-up was also a bright Bumbay. This created an assumption tuloy in me that Indians living in America are geeks.
This inspired me to make a post that is all about spelling. I will give clues and how the word sounds. By the way, the words are either gay-related or cat-related. Feel free to try. I will post the answers later. Don't cheat!
