Kumunoy

I know it's too late but when I saw the Monday episode of Iisa Pa Lamang especially the scene where Isadora was "killed" through the quicksand(kumunoy),I was kind of skeptical. By the way, that scene was so cheap in my opinion. I was thinking, do kumunoys exist in our country?


All I know is that these landforms are found on deserts. So far, the closest resemblance I can see are puddles of mud on the road due to delayed or corrupted projects. Shame on the authorities.



Wala rin akong nabalitaan na may namatay dahil sa kumunoy. At wala rin akong nakitang totoong kumunoy. To see is to believe kasi ako. Wish ko lang makakita ng kumunoy pero sana naman hindi yan ang ikamamatay ko.

I first heard of this in Monday episode of Good Times with Mo. Britney Spears is indeed sexy. But why can't I see her belly? Hmmm... may itinatago yata. Well, childbirth can be an excuse.



Naalala ko tuloy yung joke na narinig ko over the AM radio. Bisaya kasi siya kaya may itatranslate ko na lang.

Nagplano si Misis ng modus para mabuko ang pagiging womanizer ni Mister. Kaya nagpakapal siya ng make-up at nagpanggap bilang prosti. Inakit niya ang kanyang mister.

Misis: Sir, may discount ako ngayon. Matagal na kasi akong hindi nakatikim ng may-asawa...

Mister: Ayoko sayo.

Misis: Bakit naman?

Mister: Kamukha mo kasi ang misis ko.

Misis: Ngeeek!!!

White Lie

I'm such a liar!

Yesterday i had a group speaking activity as part of my IELTS review. This to gauge my English speaking skills. I really hate this kind of activities for I know it might lead to spilling out my true sexual-identity which I don't want to reveal because I want privacy. I'm trying to protect my reputation. Syempre, ayoko na pinagtsitsismisan ako lalo na at may former classmate akong kasali sa activity. I've been discreet since college so I have to be consistent. I'm planning to come out when I'm on my own na-where I have to start from scratch and ideally not in this place. Hahay, if only I could avoid this kaso lang required eh.

And there it goes, nangyari na ang kinakatakutan ko. Well I have to dwell on my lying skills. As what my instructor advised us, "You can make stories but you have to sound credible." Hotseat kasi ang format meaning gigisahin talaga ako. Para akong nasa senado dito. Aywan ko ba sa mga Pinoy, usually tinatanong ang lovelife. That's why I don't like Kris Aquino. Kung zero...zero! Wag na sana i-follow up question pa.

Americano Jutay

I was with my sister for an errand. Habang kami'y naglalakad, may nakasalubong kaming foreigner na 'singtangkad ko (or matangkad ng konti sa akin), probably Kano. In fairness naalala ko sa kanya yung kalbong bida sa Prison Break (kalbo kasi siya). Alam nyo naman dito sa amin, pag nakakita ng Puti sasabihing Amerikano.



Sis: Ang liit (ng height) naman ng height nya.

Me: Syempre naman may mga Amerikano ring pandak, ano ka ba.
Akala ko nga Pinoy sya sa malayuan.

Sis: Ganun.

Me: Ang tawag sa kanila: "HALF" bred.
