So what made me inactive for almost a week now? Preparations related to the activities last weekend for CFC-Youth for Christ. Blame it on my unemployment status. So yes I'm Christian..and gay. Oxymoronic it is but what the heck, there's no such thing as gay-friendly religion or religious organization for that matter.

Talking more about that, last Friday I was stunned with what I saw on the Bible. It says on that part there:

9Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. 1 Cor. 6:9-11.

If you've read my Hell Yeah post, I clearly said there I've already accepted my afterlife fate. But then the former statement was so solid. What really worried me is the "rejection". Though I had a slight relief with the last verse.

As of the moment it's been good that somehow I am able to resist porn and masturbation for a couple of days now. I think the atmosphere of what I had last week has been sustained. FYI, worship was one of the activities over the weekend that really moved me. This feeling may be temporary but I pray that I could overcome every struggle. After-all, being gay per se is not a sin.

Hell Yeah

Suddenly our family conversation picked on my personal gay life. It started when my mother compared me to other guys who have gfs in which I never had. Then my younger sister who is a quasi-Born-again-christian reminded me that I might not be "saved" because of my actions.

I argued that I would be doing good things not because of these "heavenly" rewards. Unfortunately they didn't get my point or maybe I was not able to convey like I wanted to.


So just directly answered them: I'm ready to be in hell.
I hate arguments, you know.

Modern Day Trends

When I was in high school, I had a close friend. We often do debates because he was a die-hard Catholic and me, a pro-protestant Catholic. Actually, there was some time in my life, during my elementary, that I have had Sunday schools in a Protestant church and even attended their services.
I enjoyed arguing with this guy, especially when I assert my point or when I rest my case.

One day, he came across with this issue:
Why are the churches today seem to be affected by commercialism/globalization?
He mentioned this church a few blocks away from our boarding house.

He complained why these churches have to place taglines. For him, it's no different from advertising a product and is therefore objectifying. In other words, it lessens the value of the place of worship.

I just answered him: Call it marketing strategy or whatever, we have to be at pace in this modern world!

The Challenge

I have this habit that started since I was 12 years old. This is what we all call-masturbation. Salsal or lô-lô in Bisaya. Since then and then, I went all the way. I mean I do it on a daily basis at least, even 3-4 times at worst. People say it's hot; believe me, it's not. I don't know why it is so indulging, it is as if my palms would get itchy or get uncomfortable.

When I say I do it daily I don't mean 100%. Of course there are exceptions.
a. when i have someone beside me sleeping--though i'd still manage to do even when i'm with my brother
b. there is a threat to privacy
c.i just forgot and get pre-occupied with other things--which is pretty next to impossible coz i do it nga on a daily basis

I really wanted to know the consequences of this addiction. I found out these in the internet:
a. pain in the groin - check!
b. soreness of genitals - check!
c. pain in the lower back - i never experienced it though
d. baldness - i hope not!

Actually there were many, I only chose a few. However, I discovered another side effect of overdoing it. I feel the hyperacidity in my tummy. I think it is a result of acid-base imbalance. Semen is alkaline just so you know. Sometimes I take Kremil-S before the ceremony.

Too much of something is bad enough...la la la...(from Spice Girls). This day, I decided to stop masturbating, seriously. I want a 30-day err make it 7 day challenge. At least one week is easier than a month.

So from then on I'll start to do this...

Bible-strucked

My being porn addict has reached even on the AM radio scene. If you're Bisaya and a radio listener, I'm sure you know DYHP. Their program "What's The Style?" is one of my faves. The show can be sometimes funny to being so erotic depending on the story and the voice-overs' "acting". Last week, I was interested with the episode entitled "Lalaki sa Lalaki Style".
